“Into the Woods” Carriage(s)

The first rendition of this prop was made out of foam which I carved using a carving knife, rasped the edges, painted with foam core, sanded, then painted satin black. Filigree was added carefully using a ruler, a metallic gold marker, cardboard stencils I cut out, and a steady hand. Sadly, this prop was broken backstage so “Carriage 2.0” was made out of luan and then sanded and received a similar paint treatment.
